We have exciting opportunities for motivated and forward-thinking pharmacists who want to develop their clinical skills working within GP practices embedding the vision set out in Achieving Excellence in Pharmaceutical Care by delivering a well respected and much appreciated Pharmacotherapy Service.
Responsibilities
* As an integral member of the GP Practice Team, you will possess effective interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to work with a range of clinical and nonclinical personnel.
* Integration is a key aim of the Pharmacy Senior Leadership Team and you will liaise closely with hospital and community pharmacy colleagues and care homes to ensure seamless pharmaceutical care.
* There may be the opportunity to spend some time working within the acute hospital setting.
Requirements and qualifications
* Availability on Mondays and/or Fridays is desirable due to current service needs, though not essential.
* Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
* The duties require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
