An exciting opportunity has opened up at Prestwich District Nursing Team for a phlebotomist to join the team. Duties will involve taking blood samples from patients within their own homes in the Bury area. Unfortunately, this role does not meet the criteria required to qualify for sponsorship. The main duties of the role will involve obtaining blood samples from patients within their own residence.
* Willingness to undertake training to the nationally recognised standards.
* Ability to work within a team and alone as required.
* Ability to liaise with patients in a sensitive manner
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to work under demanding circumstances and to deadlines
* Ability to follow protocols and policies
* Be flexible with working hours
