We are looking for a dedicated full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well-supported school in the Wakefield area (WF6). These are temporary full-time positions, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidates. The school is well connected and just a short walk from bus and train routes. Requirements: Eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions (NO SPONSORSHIP) GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are essential Experience working with children with challenging behaviour in an educational or care setting Team Teach training is desirable but not essential Strong interpersonal skills with a calm and resilient approach Possess an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one through Randstad.
