An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced pharmacy professional to join the NHS England WT&E School of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation in the North East and Yorkshire region.
The successful candidate will support the regional lead on the training requirements for pharmacy technicians and support staff across all sectors, supporting the delivery of the regional operational plan and national pharmacy workforce strategy.
* Act as the regional expert for pharmacy technician and support staff education and training
* Facilitate the development, implementation and quality assurance of training programmes
* Coordinate regional networks and stakeholder engagement
* Support the growth of quality pre-registration pharmacy technician training
* Contribute to national policy implementation and regional transformation programmes
* Provide guidance and support for staff within the NEY School of Pharmacy & Medicines Optimisation
* Liaise with other regional facilitators across England and regional lead to promote best practice and ensure adherence to national pharmacy technician strategy

Earlier this year, the Government announced that NHS England will gradually merge with the Department of Health and Social Care, leading to full integration. The aim is to create a smaller, more strategic centre that reduces duplication and eliminates waste.
