Join our Health Visiting Team in Surrey as a Band 6 Health Visitor. This role involves delivering the Healthy Child Programme, supporting children and families, working within a multidisciplinary team and providing protected services with a focus on health, wellbeing and safeguarding.

Job Responsibilities
* Lead public health and child protection activities within the team
* Deliver the Healthy Child Programme to all families in the defined locality
* Develop and manage individual support plans for children on child protection plans
* Foster effective professional relationships with families and key partners such as paediatricians, speech & language therapists, dietitians and other agencies
* Provide partnership working and signposting to additional services
* Contribute to multi‑agency assessments and take lead professional role where appropriate
* Co‑manage caseloads with other health visitors, ensuring outcomes for all children
* Apply clinical governance and safeguarding knowledge to identify and protect vulnerable families
Essential Qualifications
* Specialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification (SCPHN)
* Current NMC registration on the third part of the register
* Experience leading and working in health visiting teams
* Experience leading interventions to improve child and family outcomes
* Qualification in supervising/assessing nursing learners
* Knowledge of health visiting tools and programmes and proficiency with electronic health records
Desirable Qualifications
* Qualification in leadership and innovative practice
* Experience in line management and team development
* Experience presenting policy and outcomes to commissioners and partners
* Goal‑setting and management of interventions to achieve outcomes
Other Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use
* Passes a Disclosure and Barring Service check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975
