About the Role:
Synechron is seeking a highly experienced Programme Manager to join our Chief Technology Office team. This role is pivotal in supporting the strategic delivery of the CTO's portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective execution of complex, global change initiatives.
Working closely with the CTO Transformation and Change Leads, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of strategic portfolios, driving stakeholder engagement at senior levels, and ensuring that projects align with the broader business vision. Your expertise will help optimise resource management, streamline governance, and support the organisation's long-term technological and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the overall delivery of strategic portfolio outcomes in support of the business vision and objectives
* Own and execute CTO portfolio strategy, ensuring initiatives are aligned with organisational requirements and technology roadmaps
* Drive the delivery of strategic planning cycles across change portfolios, supporting sound investment decisions and risk management
* Develop business cases and validate benefits to support transformation initiatives and respond rapidly to emerging opportunities and threats
* Foster strong engagement with senior stakeholders at C-suite and director levels to influence and deliver the CTO vision
* Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the portfolio, keeping senior management informed and engaged
* Own and produce high-quality portfolio-level reporting to inform decision-making and track progress
* Support leadership development within the CTO change portfolio management team
* Assist in managing portfolio budgets, identifying savings opportunities, and ensuring successful delivery of outcomes
* Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure supply meets forecasted demand and interlock programmes effectively
Candidate Profile:
* Significant experience in Portfolio or Program Management, ideally within Technology or Digital transformation environments
* Proven ability to manage complex change portfolios and stakeholder relationships at senior levels
* Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and risk management skills
* Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing C-level stakeholders
* Knowledge of technology infrastructure, fintech, and governance standards
* Experience overseeing multi-country, large-scale projects, with an understanding of resource planning and delivery pipelines
* Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
