Design and implement creative, differentiated lesson plans tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each child. Support students academic, social, and emotional growth, encouraging confidence and independence. Develop and Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs): Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create and monitor IEPs for your students. Establish an inclusive and structured classroom where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Regularly evaluate and document student achievements, adapting teaching strategies to ensure continuous progress. Work Collaboratively: Partner with teaching assistants, therapists, and other staff to provide comprehensive support for each student. Promote Inclusion: Champion a culture of acceptance and understanding across the school community. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience or a specialist qualification in SEN teaching (desirable). Expertise in working with children with a range of SEN, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays.
