This brand-new school, opening initially with Year 7 in the secondary phase in September 2025, will incorporate many of the features of John Taylor MAT that have become a hallmark of its success. We are starting the search for committed, caring and flexible individuals to offer essential learning support. Teaching Assistants play are a key part of the classroom teaching team. Being part of the founding staff team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with teachers and pupils to build rapport, provide structured support, and contribute to the personal and academic development of pupils. In addition to the required qualifications and experience, you could be ideal for this role if you have: •Supported learning in a school setting •Experience of working with children with SEND and specific needs •Good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to relate well to children •Self-motivated and take responsibility •Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, willing to go the extra mile as the school grows •Can build professional relationships with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders Above all, you must be able to demonstrate a commitment to the needs of pupils, and challenge barriers and blocks to provide an enjoyable and safe learning environment.
