Your Role
We're looking for a skilled Technical Engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced, live production environment and is ready to make a real impact. With experience across Windows Server infrastructure and Microsoft Azure, you'll play a critical role in keeping essential systems running smoothly and evolving them for the future.
As part of our Production Support team, you'll be at the heart of operations – solving problems, driving improvements, and ensuring our services remain stable, secure and high‑performing.
* Take ownership of live production support, proactively monitoring systems and swiftly resolving incidents to minimise disruption
* Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, working closely with Business Analysts and third‑line support teams to deliver effective solutions
* Apply best‑practice incident and problem management techniques to maintain service excellence
* Identify risks and escape issues quickly and confidently, ensuring minimal impact on users and services
* Spot opportunities to improve performance, processes and reliability – and take the lead in making them happen
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational best practice
Qualifications
* Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL), including T‑SQL and database management
* Development experience across Java (WebSphere) and Angular within enterprise applications
* Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, BitBucket and Artifactory
* Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services, Windows Server environments and PowerShell scripting
* Exposure to enterprise platforms and tools such as Power BI, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), IBM FileNet, Kofax and ODM/iLog rules
* Ability to gain SC Clearance – you must hold UK RTW and not have left the country for 28 or more consecutive days in the last five years

If you are successfully offered this position, you will undergo a series of pre‑employment checks, including identity, nationality, employment history, and an unspent criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service). This role requires UK RTW and SC Clearance or SC Eligibility.
