This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor, looking to join an established business. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Hands‑On Production & Operational Support: .Act as a hands-on supervisor with a consistent presence on the shop floor, supporting and guiding all production activities. .Operate production equipment and perform manual/physical tasks as required to support flow, cover absence, meet customer demand and resolve bottlenecks. .Carry out basic operator maintenance, first‑line problem solving and process checks. .Provide in‑the‑moment coaching and instruction to operators to ensure safe, correct working methods. .Step in across departments and value streams as required to maintain operational continuity. Production Control & Delivery: .Responsible for day‑to‑day production scheduling within assigned areas. .Support the achievement of On‑Time Delivery (OTD) targets through active shop‑floor control. .Ensure all production transactions are completed accurately and on time within JDE or equivalent systems. .Ensure accurate transfer of parts between departments, maintaining count and traceability. .Monitor labour deployment, overtime usage and short‑term capacity.
