Retail store assistant (with keyholder responsibility)
£12.21 per hour plus benefits
Reports to: Shop manager
Department: Trading
Contract: 6 months FTC
Hours: 6 hours – Sundays only
Location: Arbroath, 123 High St Shop

We’re looking for a motivated retail assistant to join our trading team, acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK and taking responsibility for the shop on Sundays.
You’ll be surrounded by people as dedicated to beating cancer as you are.
What will I be doing?
* Overseeing the shop on Sundays, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided) and supporting volunteers.
* Assisting the team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
* Reviewing and processing donated goods and stock.
* Generating new income ideas with guidance from the Shop Manager.
* Providing excellent customer service to make supporters feel welcome.
* Maintaining shop standards on safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety.
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.

* Good relationship-building and communication skills.
