Job summary We are inviting applicants for the post of Clinical Research Fellow in Gynaecology. Candidates should be highly motivated to undertake a postgraduate degree and they will be expected to register (and self-fund) an MPhil with the University of Manchester, with the potential to convert this to an MD degree, depending on academic progress. These are also clinical posts and candidates should be at a level expected of an ST3 trainee. The split between academic and clinical time is 60%/40%. Daytime work will be primarily Gynaecology based but on-call duties do include Obstetrics. Candidates who are successful at interview will be expected to apply for Out of Program Research (OOPR) if they are currently in a training post. There are a number of research projects proposed for this job which are listed within this advert. The successful candidate will choose which proposal they wish to proceed with.
