Salary: Up to £70,000 (Negotiable, dependent on experience)

Our client is opening a brand-new, high-quality children’s home in Grays, Thurrock, and are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager – Children’s Home to lead the service from the very start. This is an exciting opportunity to make your mark and build a home that provides outstanding care, support, and stability for children and young people.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager – Children’s Home or Deputy Manager in a residential children's setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team.
* In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes (England) Regulations .
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage and develop the children’s home in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
* Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding are consistently delivered.
* Build and maintain a positive and nurturing environment for children and young people.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
* Manage budgets, rotas, and resources efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted, local authority, and legislative expectations.
* Work in partnership with families, social workers, education providers, and other professionals.
* Take the lead in preparing for and responding to Ofsted inspections.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and care plans in line with company and statutory requirements.
