Post No. POSN005083 - School Support Officer Level 3 - Maindee Primary School Maindee Primary School are looking to appoint a school support officer to join our admin team in a busy school office. This position is offered on a permanent basis to start as soon as possible. The hours are 37.0 hours per week with ½ hour unpaid lunchbreak. Holidays must be taken in school holiday periods Maindee Primary School is looking to appoint a school support officer to join the highly committed team. You must be digitally competent and enjoy working with people in a busy and fast paced environment. We are looking for someone with experience of working in a customer facing role with excellent interpersonal skills. A warm and friendly manner is essential and the ability to remain calm under pressure will be a key attribute that is required. You must be able to be flexible and be able to prioritise key tasks within the school day. Our school serves a highly diverse community and the role will include daily communication with people with varying levels of English. It is essential for the school support office to have a friendly approach but also who can be empathetic and understanding in order to work effectively with parents. If successful you can expect to work as part of a highly supportive team who work together to support a wide range of diverse needs across the school. You will have access to bespoke support both within school and if necessary from outside of the school to enable you to thrive in your role. Experience of working in a school admin team would be beneficial with knowledge of using systems such as SIMS, ParentPay etc however full training will be given so this is not essential.
