We are looking for a Salaried GP to work closely with primary care mental health practitioners, including independent prescribing nurses and clinical pharmacists, with a specialist interest in Neurodevelopmental assessment and treatment.
The main responsibilities include:
1. Providing general practice input into initial screening and referral for neurodevelopmental assessment.
2. Offering ongoing support through shared care with secondary care providers.
3. Monitoring the physical health of individuals with mental illness and neurodevelopmental disorders, including those with eating disorders under specialist community teams.
4. Providing medical support, input, and supervision for other members of the primary care mental health team as needed.
