Role Overview We are seeking reliable and safety-focused General Construction Operatives to support site operations on a live construction project. The role is site-based and involves providing essential support across logistics, traffic management, materials handling and waste control, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who are comfortable working in a dynamic construction environment and supporting multiple site functions. - Initial 6 months contract Key Responsibilities Support site logistics operations, including movement of materials, equipment and personnel Assist with traffic management, ensuring safe vehicle and pedestrian movement around site Act as a parking warden, controlling and monitoring site parking in accordance with site rules Supervise and coordinate material deliveries, ensuring correct access, unloading and storage locations Provide waste control support, including segregation, monitoring skips and maintaining housekeeping standards Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment at all times Follow site health, safety and environmental procedures, reporting hazards or unsafe conditions Support site management, supervisors and logistics teams as required Experience & Skills Previous experience working on a construction or infrastructure site (preferred but not essential) Good awareness of site safety practices and willingness to follow instructions Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with site personnel Flexible and proactive approach to site duties
