Overview
Wyre Solutions Limited is seeking a highly capable Senior IFS Support Specialist to join our growing support function. This role is critical in delivering high-quality application support across IFS environments, ensuring system stability, performance, and continuous improvement for our construction-sector clients.
You will act as a senior escalation point within the support team, working closely with functional and technical consultants, and contributing to service excellence aligned with ITIL principles.
This role is full-time and a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for IFS environments, primarily across IFS Applications 10 and IFS Cloud
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex functional and technical issues
* Manage incidents, problems, and service requests in line with ITIL best practice
* Work closely with clients to understand business processes and system usage
* Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
* Collaborate with offshore delivery teams, including regular engagement with Wyre’s Sri Lanka support centre
* Contribute to knowledge base development and continuous improvement initiatives
* Participate in on-call support rota where required
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting IFS ERP solutions
* Strong hands-on experience with IFS Applications 10 (essential)
* Exposure to IFS Cloud (preferred)
* Solid understanding of core IFS modules (Finance, Projects, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing)
* Proven experience in incident and problem management within an ITIL framework
* Ability to analyse and resolve complex system issues with minimal supervision
* Strong stakeholder communication skills
Qualifications
* Degree-level education preferred (IT, Business Systems, or related discipline)
* ITIL Foundation certification or demonstrable knowledge of ITIL fundamentals
Travel Requirements
* Occasional travel to Wyre Solutions’ support centre in Sri Lanka
* Client site visits within the UK as required
