An opportunity has become available for a Paraplanner in the Brighton and Hove area to join a growing financial planning firm that offers hybrid working and a supportive work environment with excellent career progression opportunities.
They are seeking an individual who ideally holds their Level 4 diploma and has experience as a Paraplanner, as you will be supporting experienced financial planners and assisting them with a range of cases.
Your role will include but is not limited to:
1. Assisting Financial Planners in formulating advice to clients, providing technical support and guidance where appropriate.
2. Reviewing client objectives to ensure they are clear, concise, and achievable based on the client's financial circumstances.
3. Researching and analyzing investment funds and financial products, considering client objectives.
4. Conducting fund research.
5. Preparing Financial Plans that outline the client's current position, desired goals, and the pathway to achieve them.
6. Preparing fund switch and encashment letters according to advice provided.
7. Obtaining applications, key features documents, factsheets, illustrations, and product comparison quotes from appropriate sources.
8. Liaising with Product Providers and Third Parties regarding technical queries.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Level 4 diploma qualification.
* A good understanding of the Financial Planning process.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
* Excellent customer service skills to provide a high level of service to advisers and clients.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* The ability to work effectively to deadlines.
