These young people have often faced significant challenges, and your role will be to help them re-engage with learning, build trust, and develop the skills they need to succeed-both in and out of the classroom. *This is a full time position you must be available 8.30 - 15:30 Monday - Friday and drive* What You'll Be Doing Providing 1:1 or 2:1 support to pupils in a nurturing, trauma-informed environment. Facilitating learning and emotional development through structured activities and community-based experiences. Supporting students with EHCPs, particularly those in Year 10 and 11, who require intensive, consistent guidance. Acting as a positive role model, helping pupils build resilience, self-esteem, and social skills. Collaborating with teachers, mentors, and external professionals to ensure holistic support is in place. A Day in the Life You'll start your day by collecting a student and bringing them to school-building rapport from the moment the day begins. Throughout the day, you'll support learning, lead enrichment activities, and accompany students on community outings. At the end of the day, you'll ensure a safe return home, closing the loop on a day full of growth and connection. What You Bring A full UK driving license, access to a vehicle, and business insurance. Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs, either in schools or alternative settings. A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to behaviour and relationship-building.
