Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:15am – 5:00pm & Friday, 8:15am – 1:00pm
Holidays: 25 days per year plus paid bank holidays
About The Role
We're looking for an experienced and confident HSEQ Manager to promote and support a positive culture of health, safety, environment, and quality across the business. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment where you'll lead investigations, drive improvements, and ensure full compliance across all HSEQ activities.
You'll be a proactive leader with strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a genuine passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage quality investigations (8D or similar)
* Apply root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and DMAIC
* Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
* Communicate with customers regarding quality issues and attend site visits when required
* Maintain and analyse quality records to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
* Produce and review Risk Assessments and Safe Working Practices (SWPs)
* Conduct COSHH assessments and manage compliance with Environmental Permit conditions
* Carry out accident and near‑miss investigations and oversee fire safety management
* Facilitate HSEQ meetings and audits
* Maintain and update training materials, procedures, policies, and the training matrix
Skills & Experience
* Enthusiastic, motivated, and hands‑on approach
* Strong background in manufacturing, ideally in a fast‑paced environment
* Proven use of root cause investigation techniques such as 8D, 5 Why, and DMAIC
* NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
* Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels
* Confident IT user (Word, Excel, Email)
* Experience leading HSEQ meetings and presenting data effectively
