Role Overview
As the workshop engineer, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day repairs in the workshop in Biggleswade. You will be part of a team of skilled technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and high‑quality repairs. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining equipment’s reliability and supporting customers’ needs globally.
Key Responsibilities
* Repair, overhaul, diagnostics and servicing of machinery.
* Pre‑Delivery Inspections of machines.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to maintain operational efficiency.
* Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
* Liaise with other departments to coordinate repair schedules and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a heavy plant or earthmoving equipment repairs workshop.
* Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment.
