Hartpury University is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our quality and enhancement agenda. As Deputy Academic Registrar (Quality and Enhancement), you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our academic provision, ensuring it meets the highest standards and delivers an outstanding student experience.
In this role you will be:
1. Leading the development and implementation of quality assurance and enhancement frameworks.
2. Advising senior leadership on sector-wide developments and regulatory changes.
3. Representing Hartpury with external bodies and contributing to national conversations.
4. Developing academic policies aligned with QAA, OfS, and other regulatory requirements.
5. Providing guidance and training to staff on quality processes.
6. Producing high-quality reports and supporting strategic decision-making.
7. Managing a team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
About You
8. Proven experience in academic quality assurance within UK higher education
9. Strong leadership and team management skills
10. Excellent communication, organizational and IT skills
11. The ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and guidance to produce considered recommendations
