What you'll do:
* Lead pre-construction project management for various projects, ensuring time, cost, and quality control meet client and stakeholder requirements.
* Manage specialist project management activities during pre-construction of engineering projects.
* Ensure statutory processes comply with legislation and policies; act as an expert witness when needed.
* Monitor staff performance, coach, and mentor team members to develop their technical expertise.
* Coordinate across the business to maintain workflow, identify resource needs, and support company objectives.
* Ensure team compliance with standards, responsibilities, duties, policies, and procedures.
What we're seeking:
* A degree and relevant experience in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields, with post-qualification experience in highway or civil engineering environments.
* Leadership skills, decision-making ability, and problem-solving skills to meet team and business goals.
* Strong ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and data management environments.
* Knowledge of land acquisition, statutory procedures, consultation, contract management, planning, and funding bids.
* High personal drive, motivation, and commitment to project delivery.
* A Full UK Drivers Licence.
