Looking for an exciting and rewarding role within the health and social care sector that is 100% person-centered? Want to make a difference in someone's life?
I am a gentleman in my early 40s with cerebral Palsy, scoliosis, athetoid quadriplegia, and I am looking for personal assistants to join my existing team. Due to my physical disability, I need full support with all aspects of daily living to promote my independence and achieve a good quality of life.
I enjoy attending musical activities, watching TV, and socialising with my family and friends.
The right candidate will be calm, have a genuine caring nature, good communication skills, and a sense of humour.
A driver would be preferable, but I wouldn’t turn down the right applicant if they are a non-driver.
I like to travel, so applicants need to be able to travel both within the UK and outside of the UK. I am outgoing and not a stay-at-home type of guy!
Due to the nature of the care and support I require, individuals experienced in health and social care would be preferred; however, full training will be provided.
Various shift patterns are available during the day as well as waking nights. Tasks include supporting with personal care, nutrition, all moving and handling, domestic chores, and enabling access to the local community. Full training will be provided.
Rates of pay: £12.50 - £13.35 per hour.
5.6 weeks holiday is awarded per year as standard (pro-rata for part-time positions). Employees can also join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months of service, subject to scheme rules, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after successful probation.
Please note that decisions regarding applications and employment are made in conjunction with our client. Applications will be shared with them for consideration. All information provided will be anonymised to ensure confidentiality prior to an interview. You can view our privacy policy on our website.
