Let's talk about the role
As a Trainee Tax Advisoryou'll be fully immersed with our experienced Tax team, learning to provide great advice to clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding.
It's a great opportunity to develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. You'll:
* Assisting the team with the completion of tax compliance
* Assisting with tax administration duties including logging information, scanning client records & billing
* Being part of a talented team, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver
* Preparing self-assessment personal tax returns, including advising clients of their tax liabilities
* Collating information and preparing P11D forms for limited companies
* Dealing with HMRC correspondence or enquiries
* Preparing small accounts for sole traders
Let's talk about you and your skills…
Hungry for a new challenge:
* You will have – or be expecting – a 2:1 degree, in addition to A levels in any subject at grades B and above (or equivalent).
* You will commence study on the ATT CTA Tax Pathway to complete both the ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) and CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) qualifications.
* You will demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.
* Some experience of tax matters, either through study or work experience, would help in demonstrating a desire to progress as a tax professional.
