Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an SME based in Wallingford to recruit a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £50,000 along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working!
Primary responsibilities;
1. Balance sheet reconciliations (Bank, Fixed Assets, Prepayments, Accruals)
2. Checking and approving signoff of monthly payroll, mileage and additional payments
3. Manage Banking which includes payment runs for payroll, suppliers & employee expenses
4. Support AR with managing credit limits, credit insurance and debt recovery
5. Charges and reconciliations of intercompany accounts (Quarterly IC service Invoice)
6. Generate sales and margin reports and analyse specific findings.
7. Generate and analyse overhead cost reports on monthly basis for cost centre holders and Finance Controller
8. VAT submission and reconciliation
9. Recurring month end journals including Accruals & Prepayments
Key experience and attributes;
10. Part qualified or studying for a professional finance qualification - ACCA/CIMA/ACA OR qualified by experience
11. Strong month end experience
12. Advanced Excell skills and preferably SAP or similar system experience
13. Confident in managing keyholders and their expectations
14. Effective in all elements of communication
15. Able to manage and delegate with confidence
16. Strong experience in accruals and accounting principles
