This role will be within our Fixed networks team, youll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

We work mainly with Openreach, so youll be part of a long-term contract with a trusted name in telecoms.
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current and comprehensive NRSWA Supervisor Street Works qualification, encompassing Units 10 through 16, as a baseline requirement for overseeing works in the public highway.
In addition, accreditation under the Smart Awards frameworkspecifically the Network Operative Passport Scheme (NOPS)is essential, reflecting the technical and safety competencies expected in this role.
A full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of twelve months and with no more than six penalty points, is mandatory due to the mobile nature of the role and the geographic spread of operational sites.
Familiarity with Openreach infrastructure, including Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) and Hybrid Fibre-Coaxial (HFC) networks, is highly desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate a robust understanding of telecommunications engineering, with particular emphasis on underground civil engineering and cable installation methodologies.
A strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk assessment procedures, and local authority permitting processes is essential.
The role demands a high level of operational awareness, regulatory compliance, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with professionalism and precision.
