You will be joining a design business that takes IT resilience, cyber security andpliance seriously, operating on frameworks such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials, with a clear programme of improvements planned for the year ahead.
Your RoleIn this role, you will act as the key link between the business and its outsourced IT support providers, ensuring smooth daily operations and robust IT security.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Coordinating with outsourced IT support to ensure all issues are logged and resolved quickly
2. Providing basic internal IT triage for staff ( MS Office issues, server access, simple reboots)
3. Managing IT onboarding and offboarding, including hardware setup, recovery, and ordering
4. Supporting a major upgrade of approximately 70 workstations across four offices, including secure disposal of old equipment
5. Overseeing IT licence management, renewals and allocations
6. Assisting with the annual Cyber Essentials renewal
7. Supporting ISO27001 processes, including policy implementation, internal audits and preparation for the annual audit.
What You Need to Succeed
8. Experience in IT support, service coordination or infrastructure administration
9. Confidence dealing with outsourced IT providers
10. Strong practical knowledge of day‑to‑day IT support for business users
11. Good organisational skills for managing assets, licences and documentation
12. A methodical approach topliance and audit-related tasks
13. Strongmunication skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels
14. An interest in cyber security, ISO standards and development further in this area.
15. Flexibility to travel occasionally to other UK & Ireland offices
