Brighton College Prep Handcross is seeking an outstanding, inspiring and strategic Head of Learning Support to lead our well-established Learning Enrichment provision.
This is a key leadership role within a well‑resourced and experienced team. The successful candidate will lead SEND provision and work closely with established coordinators for EAL, AGT and SEMH, providing clear strategic oversight to ensure a cohesive and ambitious whole‑school approach to inclusion.
We are looking for a SENDCo with intellectual curiosity, warmth and exacting standards, who is committed to excellence in inclusive education. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of neuroscience‑informed practice, executive functioning and metacognition, ensuring every pupil is supported to thrive and achieve exceptional outcomes.
The school is very well‑resourced to meet the vast majority of pupil needs internally, with formal EHCP processes only very rarely required. This is a significant opportunity to lead and further develop provision within a forward‑thinking, highly supportive independent prep school environment.
