An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a gentleman both in his own home and within the local community.
Responsibilities
* Act as social support by attending appointments, helping him develop confidence in social situations, and encouraging community engagement.
* Help him learn cooking, budgeting and other life skills.
* Assume light domestic duties, including meal preparation and prompting engagement in everyday life.
Qualifications
* Experience or knowledge of working with someone with Autism is preferable but not essential.
* Driver with a clean license eligible to drive a mobility car for business purposes to take client to appointments.
Hours
Hours can be worked flexibly by negotiation. Main hours will be worked mid‑week between 10am or 11am and 4pm or 5pm, with evening and weekend shifts available. Hours will range between 15–30 hours per week.
