SEND Teacher – Salford – Step Teachers Start: January 2025 (or earlier if available) Pay: up to £240/day DOE for first 12 weeks, MPS SEN1 from 13th week. Hours: Full-time | Mon–Fri | 8:30am–3:30pm Contract: Temp-to-Perm We’re working with a highly inclusive special needs school in Salford supporting young people aged around 9-19 with a variety of SEND, including moderate-to-complex learning difficulties, communication & interaction needs, and social, emotional & mental health needs. This role is perfect for a dedicated, compassionate teacher who is enthusiastic about delivering personalised education in a nurturing environment where every pupil is known, supported, and encouraged to succeed. As a SEND Teacher, you will lead a class where you will plan and deliver an engaging, accessible curriculum tailored to the individual learning profiles of your students. You will support their academic progress whilst focusing also on communication, social skills, independence and wellbeing. You’ll be part of a skilled team, working with experienced assistants, and collaborating with families to ensure consistency and high expectations across all areas of learning.
