The Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of your territory covering the South West and South Wales - identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and closing deals. This is a high-autonomy, fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives on proactive, “hunter-style” sales.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Driving revenue growth across multiple sectors
• Building relationships with contractors, engineers and merchants
• Identifying and converting new project and stock sales opportunities
• Collaborating with technical, marketing, and internal sales teams
• Providing technical guidance to customers (with support)
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
• Managing pipeline activity via CRM
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years in technical field sales (civils, drainage, or similar)
• Proven track record in proactive, new business sales
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Technically minded and quick to grasp product knowledge
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven
