Job Overview
Senior Project Manager (MEP) – Defence Project | Cranwell, Lincolnshire (site based, full‑time, with occasional visits to Rushden and Northamptonshire).
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
In this role you will lead the MEP team within our internal MEP business, delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and meeting quality and programme expectations.
Responsibilities
* Lead the project strategy and delivery plan.
* Manage and coach the MEP team to ensure safe, timely, high‑quality delivery.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and supply‑chain partners, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.
* Oversee project finances, revenue, costs and cash‑flow, taking proactive actions to prevent losses and maximise profitability.
* Supervise design management, ensuring information is provided according to procurement strategy and programme requirements.
* Promote an inclusive workplace that values wellbeing, diversity and collaboration.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience managing construction MEP projects with strong commercial and contractual awareness.
* Professional qualification or membership in progress of a Professional Body (e.g. CIOB, RICS).
* Excellent communication skills with ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels.
* CSCS and SMSTS certifications (passion for health, safety and wellbeing).
* Interest in sustainable buildings and innovative construction methods.
* Exposure to large‑scale Defence or public sector projects is advantageous.
