An exciting new opportunity for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Ipswich, Suffolk area. The home specializes in general and dementia nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly.
Key Responsibilities
* Alongside the Home Manager, manage and hold responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.
* Ensure service users receive the highest standards of professional support and experience life opportunities that promote growth and independence.
* Maintain flexibility; may not always be in the office but will be expected to cover floors or work alongside the nursing team.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
* Previous Deputy Home Manager experience is preferred.
* Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care.
* Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
* Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staff.
* Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care plans.
