We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to join a growing real estate company. This is a key operational role with full ownership of the UK finance function, supporting development, construction and property management activities.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
* Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely month-end, half-year, and year-end close.
* Support auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls, group policies, and UK accounting/tax regulations.
* Monitor project economics for development, construction, investment, and leasing activities.
* Track and manage payments for live construction projects in line with budgets and contracts.
* Oversee property management finance: lease administration, invoicing, reconciliations, and tenant account management.
* Act as the main finance contact for external partners, including auditors, banks, and tax advisors.
* Work with ERP/accounting systems and help improve finance processes.
Ideal Candidate
* Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years' relevant finance experience, ideally in real estate, construction, or industry/professional services.
* Strong operational accounting experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Proficient with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
* Understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements
* Hands-on, detail-oriented, and accountable for day-to-day finance operations.
* Well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
* Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
