This role will be field-based, covering Glasgow and the surrounding areas, providing you with a dynamic work environment.
Your Role
As an Apprentice Service Technician, your primary goal will be to learn and understand the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, ultimately qualifying as a HVAC Service Technician. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Regularly attending Glasgow Kelvin College to study for your Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pumps qualification.
* Working on a variety of HVAC equipment, from small water and air-side products to large commercial and industrial systems.
* Shadowing qualified Technicians during customer site visits.
* Gaining knowledge about refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
* Assisting with troubleshooting and supporting technically challenging breakdowns, both in-person and remotely.
* Learning about fans, air handling equipment, pumps, and water hydraulics.
* Exploring digital control systems and basic Building Management Systems (BMS).

What We’re Looking For
* Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Maths, Science, and ICT or Engineering.
* A full UK driving licence.
* A keen learner who is inquisitive and eager to get involved.
* Good written English skills.
* An interest in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Engineering, and the HVAC industry.
* A strong problem solver.
* Basic computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
* Confidence and articulate communication skills.
