MCS Group is proud to partner exclusively with a thriving software company on the hunt for a Lead Front-End Developer to join one of their expanding software development teams.
With an established local footprint and growing global reach, this business builds multiple software products that help a diverse client base unlock the full potential of their data. They're scaling fast and investing heavily in product innovation - with exciting work underway in AI.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior or Lead Front-End Developer looking to step into a hybrid leadership role - where you'll mentor a small team (4-5 front-end developers) while continuing to contribute hands-on to product development.

* The chance to influence how front-end development and design are done across the business.
What you'll be doing:
* Leading front-end development across new and existing products.
* Playing a key role in the shift to a micro-frontend architecture.
* Creating intuitive, scalable UIs with React.
* Contributing to UI/UX direction, working with tools like Figma to mock up designs.
* Coaching and mentoring junior team members while being supported by a collaborative senior leadership team.
What we're looking for:
* Strong front-end development experience with React
* A keen eye for UI design and an interest in user experience
* Comfortable with design tools like Figma and happy to create prototypes when needed
* Experience mentoring or leading developers is ideal - or a genuine interest in stepping into a leadership role
* Up to £80,000 depending on experience with a package which includes full private health, 5% pension, 23 days holidays and flexible working.
