We’re looking for compassionate, dependable Care Workers to support people in their own homes — helping them feel safe, valued, and able to live as independently as possible.
This is more than just a job. It’s about building trust, offering comfort, and being a consistent, caring presence in someone’s day.
The Heart of the Role
As a Care Worker, you’ll be supporting individuals in their own homes, providing personalised care that respects their routines, preferences, and independence.
Every person you support will have their own story — and your role is to honour that by delivering care that feels human, respectful, and genuinely kind.
You’ll be part of a wider team, but often working independently, making a real difference one visit at a time.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your role will be varied, meaningful, and centred around both practical support and emotional connection:
Personal Care
* Supporting with washing, dressing, and daily routines
* Assisting with medication where required
* Promoting dignity, comfort, and wellbeing
Daily Living Support
* Preparing meals and drinks
* Helping maintain a clean, safe home environment
* Supporting everyday routines that bring comfort and familiarity
Companionship
* Offering conversation, reassurance, and emotional support
* Encouraging independence and engagement in daily life
Practical Support
* Assisting with shopping or errands
* Supporting with appointments where needed
* Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes
* Keeping clear and accurate care records
Sometimes, the smallest acts — a chat, a smile, simply being there — can make the biggest difference.
Your Working Pattern
Full-time hours: 35–40 hours per week
Shifts scheduled across the week based on client needs
A mix of mornings, evenings, and some weekend availability
You’ll receive your rota in advance, helping you plan your time while maintaining consistency for the people you support.
Training & Support
You’ll never be expected to do this alone.
* A full induction to help you feel confident from day one
* Ongoing training and development opportunities
* Regular support from experienced coordinators and managers
* A team environment where your voice and input matter
Who This Role Is For
This role could be perfect if you are:
* Kind, patient, and naturally caring
* Reliable and able to work independently
* Respectful of others’ homes, choices, and individuality
* A good communicator who builds trust easily
Whether you’re experienced in care or completely new, what matters most is your attitude and willingness to make a difference.
A Role That Truly Matters
You may be the highlight of someone’s day — the person who brings reassurance, comfort, and a sense of normality.
If this feels like the kind of role you’ve been searching for — or if you know in your heart that you could make a real difference — we’d love for you to apply and take that first step.
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK
* A caring and professional approach
* Ability to travel between clients
* (A driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required depending on the area.)
