We're looking for a Water Technician – Level 1 who will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of water treatments for our customers. This role ensures that water is safe and meets regulatory standards.
Role Responsibilities:
* This includes all tasks of a Level 1 Technician:
* TMV valve servicing both failsafe and strip down
* Cleaning of the cooling towers & tanks (2nd person)
* Tank inspections
* Temperature monitoring and accurate recording of results
* Sampling of domestic systems and accurate submission to the laboratory
* Descaling and cleaning of showers & shower heads
* Flushing of little‑used outlets
* Complete allocated jobs within the agreed timescales.
* Complete all necessary documentation accurately and submit on the electronic system in live time.
* Carry out tasks allocated to you in accordance with all method statements and the fundamental rules of Marlowe Environmental Services.
* Must not exceed one audit failure per year.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
* Strong basic water treatment knowledge with the ability to apply analytical, problem‑solving and sound decision‑making skills.
* Effective verbal and written communication, good literacy, and strong client‑service skills.
* Excellent time management and administration abilities, including confidence using phone or tablet apps in line with our systems.
* Demonstrates excellent time‑keeping, cultural awareness, sound work ethics and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
* Holds a valid UK Driving Licence and meets compliant DBS and customer‑specific security check requirements.
