Teaching Assistant – Fresh Start September 2026

Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time and Part-time roles available
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who is looking for a fresh start this September and is passionate about supporting children to succeed in their learning and development.
This role is ideal for a committed individual who already has experience working with children and is confident supporting learning in a classroom or specialist setting.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
* Hold a current DBS registered on the Update Service
* Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
* Have previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
* Be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to safeguarding and inclusion
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils with their learning, both in groups and one‑to‑one
* Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and behaviour management
* Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
* Support pupils with additional learning or pastoral needs where required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
