About the Role
We are looking for a driven and adaptable
Organics Operations Co-Ordinator
to support our operations across Aberdeenshire and nationwide. This position is ideal for someone with a background in agricultural management. Within the role, there will be a degree of land acquisition and appraisal, organising and monitoring of waste streams as well as general day-to-day supervision of operational teams.
Key Responsibilities

Team Collaboration:
o It is integral that the candidate works closely with the Agricultural, Waste and Transport teams to ensure smooth business operations.
o Daily monitoring and supervision of operational teams.
o Organisation and co-ordination of daily schedule.

Client Relations:
o Foster trust and reliability with clients and partners.
o Encourage repeat business through excellent service and relationship management.
o Represent the company professionally in all interactions.

Land Finding:
o Identify and assess potential land sites for agricultural recycling and operational use.
o Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with landowners and clients.
o Conduct site visits, feasibility assessments, and maintain a land opportunity database.

Waste and Organics Management:
o Oversee the collection, processing, and disposal of agricultural and recyclable materials.
o Ensure compliance with UK environmental regulations and maintain accurate records.
o Compliance within Biosolids Assurance Scheme (BAS) etc.
o Develop and implement waste reduction and recycling strategies.
o Assist with audits, maintenance of documentation and regulations.
Requirements
· Experience in land acquisition, planning, or environmental services.
· Knowledge of UK waste management legislation and environmental compliance.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
· Good communication skills and attention to detail.
· A fundamental understanding of farming people, priorities, and processes.
· A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite — especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
· A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
· A flexible approach to working hours and travel.
Desirable
· Qualifications in agriculture, land management, environmental science, or related fields.
· Experience in agricultural or recycling operations.
· FACTS training (Fertiliser Advisers Certification and Training Scheme).
· Experience in agricultural management, sales, land-based work, or rural development.
