Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Event Manager to oversee a variety of events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering memorable occasions.

Located in the stunningly, idyllic Charlton Estate just outside of Alnwick, the Doxford Group sets the highest standard Northumberland has to offer. The Doxford Group is a family run organisation already specialising in delivering extraordinary wedding and event experiences

* Coordinate, and execute Weddings, Celebrations and Corporate Events
* Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue setup, catering arrangements, entertainment, and technical requirements.
* Upsell bar maximise revenue opportunities while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
* Liaise with the wedding and event co-ordinators to understand client needs and preferences to deliver an exceptional experience.
* Oversee event team, train and assign roles, and ensure timely delivery of services during events.
* Maintain detailed organisational records, budgets, and timelines to ensure smooth operations.
* Monitor event progress and resolve any issues promptly to uphold quality standards.
* Analyse post-event feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements for future occasions.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in event management within hospitality, hotel, wedding, or event setting
* Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Exceptional communication skills for liaising with colleagues, clients and team members.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

* Competitive rates of pay. Salary £33-35K plus bonus against KPI's
