Anderson Knight is currently recruiting for a Compliance Administrator on behalf of a well-established organisation based in the Motherwell area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business in a pivotal role supporting ongoing regulatory and standards compliance.
Location: Motherwell
Salary: £31,000 – £35,000
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 4pm
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in auditing or compliance, ideally within a construction or engineering environment.
Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play a central role in maintaining ISO certifications, supporting internal audits, and promoting continuous improvement across the business. You’ll be involved in compliance monitoring, audit planning, and cross-departmental collaboration to uphold high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain certification of the company’s Integrated Management Systems.
* Ensure continued compliance with accreditations such as CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, and Building Confidence.
* Plan and conduct internal audits across business units and projects (training provided where required).
* Analyse audit results and prepare reports with actionable recommendations.
* Maintain and develop company procedures, policies, and documentation.
* Lead and support Management Reviews in line with risk frameworks and business objectives.
* Manage Legal and Environmental compliance registers.
* Coordinate and complete client pre-qualification and compliance questionnaires.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in auditing and/or compliance (essential).
* Confident liaising with external auditors and managing audit processes.
* Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other digital platforms.
* A valid UK driving licence – occasional travel to construction sites and the Manchester office is required.
* Previous experience in a construction or engineering environment is highly desirable.
