Production Supervisor
* Would suit an experienced Manufacturing / Production Supervisor from a fabrication background who is looking to progress into management.

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage and lead a small team of Welder Fabricators. The business operate within the heavy engineering sector so any prior knowledge of manufacturing processes within this industry would be ideal. The main focus of this role will be to drive the function forward from a process perspective, whilst also upskilling the existing team where needed. There is plenty of scope to implement your own ideas and the role will naturally grow as a business expansion is on the horizon.
Salary: c£40,000 to £45,000 per annum as a guide.
This Production Supervisor job will suit:
* Experience working within the sheet metal fabrication sector. Preferably within the heavy engineering sector.
* Proven Supervisory experience, alongside a track record of improving fabrication processes.
* Organised and a natural problem solver. Someone who wants to own the department and strive to continually improve all aspects.
* Proactive in nature. We need someone who will be ahead of the curve on any production related challenges.

* Lead day-to-day fabrication and manufacturing activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
* Ensure timely delivery of projects, balancing workload and capacity across departments.
* Drive continuous improvement in output, efficiency, and quality.
* Ensure full compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and internal policies.
* Manage attendance, discipline, and performance, conducting regular reviews and appraisals.
