Pertemps are currently recruiting for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join a growing manufacturing team based in Tipton.
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing a variety of mechanical systems within a busy manufacturing environment. You will also diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with mechanical and hydraulic systems Ability to read and interpret engineering technical drawings Experience using air, electric and manual tools Knowledge of torque settings and mechanical assembly Own tools A proactive approach and strong attention to detail Working Hours Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30 Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 (early finish)
