Overview
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team in creating and repairing furniture upholstery. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various fabrics and materials to produce high-quality upholstered items.
Responsibilities
- Assemble furniture upholstery according to specifications
- Repair and replace worn-out or damaged upholstery
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fit materials
- Perform heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture pieces
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix upholstery issues
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace in the warehouse
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role
- Proficiency in working with fabrics
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
