We are recruiting for an Accountant to join a successful, independent accountancy practice that is looking to add to its dynamic team. Within this role you will be supporting the delivery of bookkeeping, payroll, personal tax and accounting and audit services to a diverse client portfolio.

The firm is ideally seeking a qualified accountant who has a broad range of experience which would include audit and taxation experience along with accounts.
As Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
1. Support year-end accounts production and liaise with clients as required
2. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients
3. Process and manage client payrolls, including statutory returns
4. Assist in the preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, and financial statements
5. Prepare self-assessment tax returns and assist with MTD for clients moving into this area
