Overview
To receipt and prepare items for the HPC build, prepare items with multiple tools, assessing each item’s requirement as per the instructions to ensure safe and compliant storage and carriage to site. Multiple positions are available across the Bridgwater operation within our J24 Asset Warehouse team, MLC Warehouse and a project team focusing on the integration of stock between systems; Turnkey.
The opportunity is part of our EDF contract, supporting warehousing solutions for the HPC Nuclear Build (Hinkley Point C) in Bridgwater. This is the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.

Duties And Responsibilities
* Demonstrate a safety-first mindset and engage with safety initiatives
* Operate MHE to unload and load deliveries into floor and racking locations
* Prepare and complete warehouse deliveries according to schedule
* Inventory control via Scan guns, tablets and Warehouse Management System
* Deliver high personal standards to achieve KPI’s in safety, quality, performance and service
* Ensure accuracy in all aspects of the operation
* Use various tools such as banding machine, scales and other applicable machinery
Experience, Skills, And Attributes
* Experience of working within a warehouse environment
* Excellent communication skills with logical problem-solving abilities
* Ability to make recommendations for improvement
* Enthusiastic, committed and adaptable to changing demands
* MHE license(s) desirable but not essential as training will be provided
* Career progression available for the right candidates
* CITB Operatives or equivalent
