My client is a well-established engineering design-and-build business delivering complex, project-based engineered solutions.
As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering technically demanding projects while ensuring customer satisfaction, commercial control, and operational excellence.
The Role – Project Manager:
As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of multiple projects, acting as the key point of contact for customers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading and delivering engineering projects from order to completion
2. Managing project programmes, milestones, and delivery schedules
3. Owning customer experience and ensuring project performance guarantees are met
4. Coordinating design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities
5. Managing project risk, budgets, cost control, and cashflow
6. Overseeing CDM, Health & Safety, CE / UKCA compliance
7. Supporting Project Engineers and site teams throughout the project lifecycle
8. Attending customer sites and leading project meetings
9. Driving continuous improvement, standardisation, and value engineering
Minimum Skills / Experience Required – Project Manager
10. Proven experience working as a Project Manager within an engineering/manufacturing or construction
11. Strong knowledge of project delivery, planning, and risk management
12. Experience managing budgets, variations, and commercial performance
13. Confident communicator with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
14. Understanding of Health & Safety, CDM, and compliance requirements
15. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
16. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
