Semiconductor devices provide the foundations on which progress in the technology sector are enabled. Based in Abingdon, UK, we are a high calibre team of 110 people and continue to grow. We are backed by global financial and industry investors including Applied Ventures, the strategic venture arm of the industry leading equipment company.
The prime function of the role is to manage the flow of goods and services within the organization.

Reporting to: Director of Operations
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in streamlining the supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management – negotiate delivery dates, audit suppliers and manufacturing transactions, streamline the supply chain process
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third‑party logistics providers
* Negotiate pricing agreements to secure favourable terms. Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality or service
* Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality and reliability standards. To include onsite audits and supplier visits.
Logistics and Delivery Management – monitor and manage delivery forecasts. Follow up and support delivery issues for goods and products
Performance monitoring and reporting - setting and reporting KPIs, clear and regular communication to all internal customers, initiating escalation processes for any issues or concerns
Personal Qualities
* Confident with data analysis and interpretation.
* Ability to understand requirements planning processes.
* Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
Education / Qualifications
Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems (essential).
Professional Skills/ Abilities
* Essential - Supply Chain experience within an Engineering industry
* Preferred – Manufacturing production background
Salary: £46-65K (depending on experience)
